We are currently seeking Glass Bottle Printers to join our team at our Wisconsin facility.
Available Shifts:
Stanpac currently has three shift options available for this position. Please indicate your preference during the screening process.
- 1st shift – Monday to Friday, 7AM-3:30PM
- 2nd shift – Monday to Friday, 3PM-11:30PM
- 3rd shift – Sunday to Thursday, 11PM-7:30AM
- *please note training for the incoming candidate to 3rd shift may be required to take place on 1st or 2nd shift until able to run Printing Equipment. Once training is complete, then the person will be able to be placed onto 3rd
Salary/Wage: $25.00-$30.00 per hour, wage will be determined based on skills and experience
Responsibilities and Duties
- Effectively operate industrial printing equipment for decorating glass bottles.
- Changeover machine to different designs and bottle types.
- Load ink colors into printer as per customer specifications.
- Set up screen printing equipment and quality check printed bottles to ensure print quality meets customer specifications.
- Develop and implement improvements for cost reduction, quality, and safety.
- Practice effective communication with all associates.
- Assist with the training requirements of all departmental associates.
- Consistently meet customer specifications and timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience with CNC equipment, operate/setup.
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt to fast paced and ever-changing environment.
- Some knowledge of robotics, an asset.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with tools.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work within a hot indoor climate.
- Ability to comfortably walk, sit, bend, and crouch.
- Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Able to lift up to 30lbs (occasionally may be required to lift up to 50lbs).
