Study Suggests Daily Milk Consumption Protects the Heart
Great news for milk and dairy lovers! A recent study suggests that consumption of dairy and milk products can help to maintain a healthy heart. Researchers from the Wageningen University in Netherlands found that milk and other dairy products help to keep blood pressure under control and reduce the risk of heart diseases and heart attacks.
A fresh, cold glass of milk everyday is not only tasty, but can actually aid in keeping your heart healthy.
Wageningen University researcher Dr Sabita S. Soedamah-Muthu suggested that, “the meta-analyses indicate that there is a link between increasing the number of glasses of milk a day and a lower incidence of hyper-tension and subsequently the heart attack risk”. In addition to this, “the risk of high blood pressure declined with an increase in the consumption of total or low-fat dairy products and milk”.
