In 1971 the company was purchased by its present owner who moved the company two years later to its present headquarters in Smithville Ontario which is in the Niagara Peninsula.

Throughout the mid to late 1980's, Stanpac's operations were expanded, automated and modernized as the Company opportunistically grew into new markets with new and innovative products in both the fluid milk and ice cream segments of the packaging sector

Over the years, Stanpac built a solid reputation in these markets which resulted in strong growth and more product offerings including a state of the art glass container printing division that not only has allowed for even more product offerings in the fluid milk market but has resulted in a prominent presence in the wine, spirit and beverage business in North America. Stanpac has also added numerous tamper evident solutions for the fluid milk and ice cream packaging sectors resulting in 7 patents granted or pending in more than 20 countries.

By the end of 2007, Stanpac had 100+ employees manufacturing products including paperboard ice cream packaging, fluid milk packaging, injection molded tamper evident closures, glass container printing and heat seal closures for various food product applications.

In 2008, Stanpac acquired the ice cream packaging division of a large competitor which has enabled us to establish a full line of ice cream packaging from  novelty sizes that are sold exclusively through our long time partner Norse Dairy Systems and our multi serves sizes from 16 ounces up to 64 ounce that are sold directly through our team of sales and technical service professionals. With a work force of more than 300 located in Smithville and our new facility in Dallas Texas, we are committed to providing some of the finest products, equipment and service available in the market.
